  You can also do a direct dropoff at the closest agent location to you.

• How do I get paid?

  Based on the type and the Kilogram of the recyclable you give out to Agents or Collectors, you get paid into your Scrapays Wallet (Phone Number) or by direct cash.

• How safe is my money in the wallet?

  Your wallet has a 4 digit security PIN which only you have access to, just like your ATM PIN. Your funds are secured as long as your details is not shared with others

• How does the USSD (*347*477) work?

  The USSD interface allows you to access Scrapays services and do transactions like; Placing pickup requests, transferring funds, buying airtime, etc. without access to the internet.

• How does the Scrapays Whatsapp Bot work (08093333477)?

  Whatsapp bot is a self-care service that allows you to interact, access the Scrapays solution and do transactions in your Wallet, there is the Whatsapp Chat interface.

• What are the type of recyclable waste Scrapays collect?

  We only collect sorted Recyclable waste. This means this wasted must be sorted by you, for you to get paid for them.
  Scrapays currently collect across over 13 different material types (Plastics(PP, HDPE, ABS, PS, PET, LDPE-Nylons), Cartons, Metals(Iron, Aluminum, Copper, Zinc), Batteries, Electronic Waste, Out-of-Use Items (e.g Old Refrigerator, Bad Generator, etc.). • How does the Scrapays Wallet work?

  For every User on Scrapays, Your phone number becomes your Wallet ID automatically. This means payment can be made directly to any phone number at the point of Collection seamlessly.
  The fantastic thing about this is that these Users don‘t have to be previously registered on Scrapays, they immediately get an SMS notification of your payment to them. they are instructed to either dial *347*477# or chat our Whatsapp Bot - 08093333477

• What can I do with the Funds in my Scrapays Wallet, how do I even withdraw it?

  With the Scrapays Wallet System allows literally everyone to be finacally included, once you have a phone number then you already have a Scrapays Wallet.
  Directly from our USSD (*347*477#), Whatsapp (08093333477), Mobile App, or Web App interface, users can directly;
  - Transfer funds to any phone number within the country, registered or not with Scrapays. This means you can literally transfer funds to anyone once you simply have their Phone number.

• What is the minimum volume of recyclable waste I must have, before placing a pickup request or going to an Agent for a direct dropoff?

  This is dependent on the recyclable material type that you are giving out. On average, you are required to have a minimum of 5 KG for accross the board.
